Question Questions about Rays Duralumin lugs

I just ordered a set of Rays Duralumin Blue Extended lugs and i was told the Rays lugs have a tendencey to seize on the bolt if some lubricant (motor oil or similar) is not applied to the tapered part of the lug before installing.

Has anyone else ever heard this?

Thanks!

ive not heard about this... but im not sure if i want to put lubricant on
the tapered part of the nut. that's where the friction is suppose to be to maintain the lug's torque.

if it is a problem, i might do a very small app of antiseize. like
very thin app.

Aluminum lugs, Steel studs. Dissimilar metals = corrosion

Yes, use Never (Anti) Seize on the threads and check them after 300 miles.

BTW, there is NO WAY IN H3LL that I would use aluminum lug nuts. Not in South Texas where we have lots of salt air.

Antisieze is usually recommended for all lugnuts, just don't go overboard with it.
