Question 255/40/17 on Fronts ...

So I am thinking of getting a dedicated set of wheels/tires for the track/auto-x. I am looking at a 17x8.5" wheels with 30 offset, coupled with 255/40/17 tires all around. My only concern is whether I will face rubbing issues on the front? I am running stock suspension on a 2003 6MT coupe. Any ideas/suggestions are welcomed!

should not be a problem if you are stock suspension. There was an article of someone putting 275's in the front

Thanks! Good to know it works on the Z. The question now is, how similar is the G35 setup vs Z? I think i read somewhere that our front fenders etc have less clearance/tolerance than the Z?
