Stagger question

My uncle has a 2004 non brembo auto g35c and has to replace his tires soon so he is thinking of getting some rims with tires mounted being sold in the classifieds to save some money and have a new look. Would he be able to run Ruff Racing 19x8.5 35mm offset on the front and rear of his car or would this totally screw up the VDC. Does anyone have actual experience trying something like this because I searched and found a lot of different opinions by people but not many who actually tried it. TIA

Can't say i know any coupe owners with +35mm offsets. Most ideal offsets for coupes are in the +20s. Several sedan owners do have ruff racing wheels. Hopefully some of them can chime in.
