Which tires for 19" Daytonas?
Because of the iForged sale, I had to make an impulse buy a couple of minutes before midnight of 12/1.
I am very happy with my choice. I ordered them in anthracite for the uniqueness of the color. damn iForged doesn't release their offsets, but it's suppose to be the most aggressive. i certainly hope so.
Now I have trouble picking a good summer tire. I've been reading reviews on tirerack for a few hours already, but I still don't know what to pick. There are way... too many choices.
I've been sliding towards the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position
because of the price and good reviews. The price of the General Exclaim UHP is very appealing. I also see ppl recommending the toyo t1r. The first two have pretty good reviews at tirerack.
I know nothing about tires. It's my first time shopping for it, so I would appreciate the help. I probably wouldn't know the difference between a good tire and a bad one if they told me to drive on both.
1) What size tires do you guys recommend on 19x8 F and 19x10 R? I want the rims to look flush with the fenders, but I don't want to roll my fenders in case I decide on coils.
2)what's the difference between putting 245/35 & 275/35 vs 245/35 & 275/30 vs 255/xx & 285/xx? please fill in the appropriate sidewall xx
3) can you guys place the following in the best performance order:
Extreme Performance Summer
Max Performance Summer
Ultra High Performance Summer
High Performance Summer
Grand Touring Summer
Track & Competition DOT
its from tirerack, and it's confusing.
4) When I read that a set of tires corner well, does it mean that the rear wouldn't fishtail? I honestly would never be able to tell.
5) what should i look for in a good set of summer tires besides traction on dry/wet?
from my questions, you can tell i need serious help. please do! lol
