Question on sedan sport wheel offset

Tried a search and had no luck...

Can anyone tell me what the offset is on the 17" 5-spoke sport wheels from the sedan?

Re: Question on sedan sport wheel offset

They are 45mm offset. Most aftermarket are 40mm with will be fine as long as you don't go crazy with the tire width.

Re: Question on sedan sport wheel offset

Thanks for the quick reply...

Not going crazy with width at all. I'm putting together a winter tire/wheel package and due to the limited chices in the 215/55-17 size I'm most likely going to go with some 225/55-17 Sempert Winter Sport tires on a set of inexpensive aftermarket rims. (WS-50's are too squishy, Pirelli 210's are too expensive)

Re: Question on sedan sport wheel offset

BTW, the wheel offsets are listed on page 10-8 of your Owner's Manual.

Also, for winter tire packages, you may want to consider 16" rims and tires to keep the costs lower. (Unless you have Brembo brakes, then you're stuck with 17".)

Re: Question on sedan sport wheel offset

Just an FYI, 225/50/17 will be just as close to the stock diameter as 225/55/17 and may give you better choices.

additionally for snow tires you can go with a 205/65/16 which will be closer. 16 Rims and blizzaks in that size will run you 528 for four or half of that jsut for the two rear ones

Re: Question on sedan sport wheel offset

I have a 6MT sedan and here's what I got because I didn't wanna go with the squishy Blizzak WS-50s. If you go with 16" rims (which would be better in snow) you can get four 215/60-16 Michelin Artic Alpins for under $400. The 16" wheel/tire price is a whole lot lower than the 17" 225 width tire.
