Racing hart J8's: Clear coated lip?

so i am going to refinish my wheels this winter bc the polished lips on them are scratched to hell and look like ****. Before i start hitting it with the sand paper and buffer I would like to know if the lips on them are clear coated. Anyone know? they are Racing Hart Pro J8's

Thanks

Not sure, but contact the dealer or RH directly. Those are nice units.

They are annodized. That I know for sure. You will never be able to polishe them so that they look 100% as they are welded 2 piece wheels. Without taking the centers out, it will take you eons to do just one wheel and I doubt you will get perfect results. Additionally, once polished, you will be adding some additional maintainence to your wheels since you will have to polish religiously to keep them looking good. I would reco just sticking with the annodized lip and the few scratches nd just live it with it. I have the same wheels, I know where you are coming from!
