Though one thing I haven't really looked at...the rear parking brake: caliper or internal drum?
If it's caliper, then you'll need a special tool to rotate and compress the piston back in;.

i wouldnt dump needless rpm into your engine to make your car stop fast to you know what you are doing to your engine and tranny. Use the breaks thats what they are for . plus are alot cheaper than engine or tranny
