What is in your opinion the best looking rims to put on a black coupe?
2. I have a 5at is it worth it to trade it in for a 6mt?

 

Another classic example of ppl gettin sick of AT. Trade for the manual now, you get two things: you lose the least amount of money & you get to enjoy your MT for the longest time.

As for wheels, its really up to your preference. I personally love the stock wheels. They're like the only set of stock wheels I've liked so much (besides for stock M5 wheels). With black wheels, if you stick to the same color, or a similar silverish metallic look, IMHO it complements the car the best. White is too toyish, and dark colors juss don't contrast the car enough.

If you have to drive a long way to work or to school, 6MT is not for you, i heard many friends who drove manual and has to travel far away on a daily basis, they think driving manual is no more a pleasure, instead it is a torture because all the traffic jam on the highway. So if you have to travel far away from your work etc., think twice before you switch to the 6MT.

As for rims, i like the Advans and the 5ZRs.

This is all personal preferance but I like the Volk LE-37T's or the TE-37's. I'll try posting a pic but it might not work. I know this isn't a G but it's a good pic of the wheels

My G35c came with the 17" rims painted silver. IMHO that setup was as exciting as a flat tire. I really liked the OEM 18" rim design, so this picture is of the OEM 18" rim with PermaStar coating. They offer a PermaStar in Black Pearl which I think would be awesome on your Black G35s.
Forget about the concern with the automatic. This G35c is my 7th sportscar, and the only one that was not stick. I have gotten used to the automatic and like it, especially when driving in highly conjested 2- 10 MPH traffic. Your left leg can get pretty tired in a hurry.

yes. another classic example of ppl.... <laughing> I think the opinion of MT v. AT comes up in every f^%king forum. It always comes to bashing of one or the other. I bet we could start a thread about baseball bats and someone would bash an AT or a MT. It all comes down to PERSONAL OPINION or PREFERENCE, not facts or stats (especially the theoretical ones)

 

i have stock 18" on mt g35c. but he best looking wheels i think ive seen soo far are: a) iforged aero 19" that mkuryla has on her ride, and b) 19" maya 3 piece i saw on a g35c on cardomain.

don't start no sh*t, won't be no sh*t!

 

These are my Maya 20" DTM's. I am still in love with these babies. Just my opinion but I think they would look great on black as well.
