I don't know how the Infiniti there does it, but my dealership, the warranty is offered through another organization (MAG group if I remember right) that just uses the dealership as their window into the market. They have it set up so that as long as you report the change of tires/wheels and a reason they will cover it as long as they give you an Approval.Originally Posted by madchef
Wheel warranty from infiniti covers aftermarket wheels and tires?

I worked at CarsDirect and our tire and wheel covered aftermarket wheels too. That was worth it. Check what the deductible is. Keep in mind that the price is negotiable.

i wish i had gotten it but no one even said anything to me about it when i bought my car maybe they could just tell i was a bad driver haha
My dealer said that I didnt have to buy it that day, and that I can go back in and purchase it.

Not worth it, my friend FX got 20" on them and bought warranty for the wheels. They told him whole bunch of BS (scratches, dents, bla bla bla, we'll fix or replace).....One day he got a very bad scratch, brought to dealer, they said the warranty only cover when the wheels are not drivable. Don't know the whole story, but in the end he had some place fixed the wheel for him $100. My 2cents, with the $$$ you spend on warranty, just save it up and get you another set of wheels.

Mine is not offered from Infiniti, it's a separate private company. However, it DOES NOT COVER bent rims, curb rash or even broken spokes. It only pays if the rim will NOT hold air! WTF is that! It could be wobbling down the road and still not be covered! Originally Posted by madchef
