Cracked Axis Hiro Wheel

I see alot of threads asking about wheels and their durability, so I thought Id post this. They were fine in the morning when I cleaned them, I drove about 40miles and saw the crack when I was washing my car later that evening. I didnt run over anything or hit a pothole, seems like the crack just happened.

Contact Axis right away. That's definitely not supposed to happen.

Sadly, you're not the 1st one to go through this. I've seen a handful of these cracking. Apparently there was a bad batch of Hiros...

stress fracture can happen even if you dont drive aggressively if it
was poorly made.

glad you didn't get into an accident. get a free replacement... they
owe you that much. i would complain about the other 3 too.

I would DEFINITELY let them know that there are a lot of guys like me out here surfing the forums trying to decide about aftermarket wheels, and s***ty customer service on your legitimate claim may get them more bad press than they could imagine

I can say for sure that if they don't take care of your claim, I would NEVER buy an Axis product

And I am sure most would share that opinion...

Good luck with your claim...

Thanks, I hope they realize that word of mouth is more important than anything else. I will post in this thread whether or not they come through.

Axis is not the cheapest brand. I was considering them for a while. Good that I ordered Work's!
