Any run a 245/45 on a 7.5" rim?

I was told by TireRack that yes a 245/45/18 will fit an 18x7.5 rim. My question is whether or not anyone on here has actually done this and what the effect was.

Thanks! I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. That gives me a much better idea of what will happen. From what Trey and I could tell it shouldn't even really fit and I guess you just explained why.

take a look at the '05 OEM sport 18" wheels. those come with 235/45/18 and you will see exactly how your set up will look with those tires.

I do think it varies from tire to tire, though.
