Smile Big Wheels/Tires On Rear?

I've searched a bunch and found lots of info on staggered wheels, but little info on the larger wheels/tires. I have an 06 coupe 5AT with the stock 17" wheels/tires. I have an opportunity to purchase a set of Mondello wheels (18x8jj & 18x9jj) with tires at a great price. What I would like to know is will I have any problems or need any modifications putting 275/40 x 18" on the rear, and 225/45 x 18's on the front.

Thanks for any help.....I really did search.

Wow, thanks guys! I love this forum. I have a similar forum for my motorcycle (KTMTalk), and I don't know what I would do without either.

These wheels come in 20 and 40 mm offsets. 20mm will fit fine in 18 inch, correct?

I'm also contemplating these wheels, 18x8 front and back with the stock staggered tire setup.

You car will have major understear issues if you run a 225 up front paired with a 275 in the rear. Either bump the rear down to 245/45/18 or get 245/40/18's for the front
