Re: Problem with Tire pressure monitor?

Ohh.. that's cool. I've had problem with it since the first day. It always just turns on! Especially on long trips for over 50 miles, it'll just turn on. And I'll measure it and it'll be 40 psi!! That's not even close to low. But normally cold pressure is 36 psi. Yeah.. there's something wrong with it. I didn't know, it was fixable. cool... I'll bring it in soon. Thanks

Re: Problem with Tire pressure monitor?

I live in Chicago and weather has gotten cold. When it was about 28 F it came on and I pumped it up to 36psi cold. It went off and never came on again..till 3 days later it came on with that annoying beeeep. Just to be sure, I stopped and what do you know my right rear tire was almost flat! There was a gas station about 100 yards away so I inched the car over and pumped up the almost flat out. At about 34 psi, I could hear the sidewall leaking...well at least this time the low pressure sensor alerted me to a real problem. Bummer ... only 1400 miles and I have to replace a tire.
