Ok sit on the road one day and count 10 hondas/acuras that go by and tell me how many of those were hooked up and how many were not, remember ANYTHING that is altered on that car qualifies as it not being stock, i.e rims, exhaust, "shopping cart spoiler"

this is just something that will have to be proven. I seriously do not think that 80-90% of them are stock, maybe 40% or 50% but not 90%. Plus even if you do see 90% of them stock in southcenter how about the rest of WA, or the rest of the country for that matter? Maybe you should revise your quote and make it say 90% of hondas in my city are stock or in WA. Go to LA or a place where street racing is a big scene and see if your reasoning will stick.

Do you honestly think that 90% of Honda/Acura in the COUNTRY are stock??? South Dakota...Did you pull that out of your A$$ or have you actually been there and can prove that they indeed are mostly stock?? Because I would think that since there ain't CRAP to do there the last thing they would do is leave it stock. But anyway that's besides the point, point is that yes there might be a state or city that will have a lot of stock hondas that might "balance it out" as you say but it's still not enough to compare to the country of all the hooked up hondas.

Now you want to compare the dealership too? So not just OWNED, DAILY DRIVEN hondas/acuras. Hawaii = a lot of hooked up cars, Oh Puerto Rico (yes it's part of the Country United States so it counts) Dude I've been there and 99% of them are hooked up, and theres probably about 300,000 owners EASILY. So take that for balancing out.

I would say coming from 80-90% is a pretty good estimate. You need to understand that past the age of 30, most individuals do not mod their cars. I would venture to say that 70-80% of g35 coupes aren't modded either. Just because you see a sample of people on this forums doesn't mean that its representative of the entire nation. The point is that almost 90% of hondas sold will be sold to people over the age of 30 and thats a VERY modest number. Read this article, the average owner of Toyotas is 52! Honda is very similar to Toyota and even if you give them a 15 year gap which is ridiculous because Scions Average age is 39 you still do not get to 30. If you look at the total amount of hondas sold in america you will see that 80-90% is a very good estimate.
So you estimate 300,000 total modded hondas? Honda sold 1.5 million cars last year in the US. That doesn't include acuras. A majority of modded hondas are 90 and up, so over the past 16 years, if honda only sold 700,000 cars a year, less than half of this years sales, they would have sold ~12 million cars, so my numbers were actually underestimated, 97.5% of hondas are STOCK.
