have OEM 19"..will 18" volks look funny?

I'm currently running the OEM 19" wheels and am lowered ~0.8" on my Nismo S-tune suspension. I'm rolling around the idea of getting some TE37s (black or silver). Because 19" tires are so expensive, I've thought about getting them in 18". 275/40/18 and 245/40/18 are within 1% of the OEM tire sizes, so I'd have a slightly higher-profile tire with potentially slightly more wheel gap.

What do you guys think?

Good idea...but I'll never track this car. I'm still saving for my track car .

Then just stick with the OEM 19" then. If you are looking for wider rims there is a company somewhere that you can send your rims off to and they will actually make them wider...so basically they can make your OEM 19s any width you want. I will try to find the website for you.

I'm looking for new wheels probably most for appearance....to set it off a bit. Here in LA there's tons of G35s and they all seem to have the OEM 19's.
