Tire pressure question.
I was running 35 all around on 245/30/19 front and 245/40/19 rear (M45 rims)
Now recently I put 255/40/19 on the rear and left same on the front.
When pressure was same all around car felt like a freaking boat. My front was fine but rear was always trying to switch lane on me in the corners. And It jumped up and down like crazy. It it wasn't rough jumping, but smooth kinda floating jumping (after I hit a small bump on the bridge or something like that)
So I took the car back to the tire shop and I was hoping that they change my tires for 255/35/19 so my sidewall will be smaller and tire will do less play. But they pumped it up to 40 on the rear and told me to try it out. So far it kinda ok I guess. I have to run it through same corners to really feel the difference.

Bringing this one back from the dead...
I am trying to combat some road noise and tire feathering on my front tires, I am currently running about 40psi all around cold. Should I drop it to about 35psi??

Tire pressure is really dependent on the weight of the car and not the size of wheel/tire. Regardless of your wheel/tire setup, start off with the OEM spec, and then adjust from there depending on feel and wear.
hey my tpms just went off today... i have stock 18s on bridgestone potenzas... i checked hte pressure and all show around 32... im gonna fill up to about 36 now.. most people on this thread saying high 30s for 19s.. but what about 18s? im gonna assume the same ?
*edit*
one of my tires was 30, so i brought that to 33 and everything is good

I've been getting massive inside middle of the rear tire wear and a lot of road noise up front. Currently I'm running 38psi up front and 33 rear. I'll let you guys know how it works.
