Are there any manufactures other then Bridgestone that make the 225/50 18 -245/45 18?
Also - Can you fit 225/45 18 (front) and 245/40 18 (rear) on the existing sport rims? If so, do you need to have a recalibration done for the speedometer / odometer?

I've did research re: the same issue. According to Pirelli's website, they make p-zero's in both these sizes, but for some reason, I can't locate the 225/50/18 p-zero's online (not even Tirerack has them). That's about it.
I've wondered about changing to 225/45/18 in the fronts. A LOT more selection of tires! Anyway, according to responses I read in a thread in the 2007 g35 sedan forum, the speedometer won't be off if you only change the front because the speed sensor (or whatever it is) is connected to the rear (drive) wheels.
Now, if you change the rear, then speedometer will be off. I don't think there is any type of calibration you can do to make the speedometer show the correct speed. You just have to live with this slight inaccuracy.
