What HRE's did you get and what did they run ya? They've always been up there in terms of price.

Re: HRE Wheels

ohh well i got the 800 series. And i dont want to say i want it to be a secret. You guys will see when i get them. Lets just say the amount i spent (without tires) is running me about 5000. I will be putting 20by8.5 front and 20by 11.0 in the back. I have already rolled the back fenders to support it. Spent like 500 bucks on rolling them. Should look very nice,

Re: HRE Wheels

OUCH! $5K for just the rims! Man that's steep! With tires you're looking at over $6K!

Just curious, did you test fit a 20x11" rim for the rear? I would consider doing so, as the 19x10" rims with like a +30 offset are pretty damn close once you get a tire on it. I assume you're going to go with a 285/30 tire, yes? no? As for rolling your fenders, another BIG OUCH at $500!

Re: HRE Wheels

$500 to roll your fenders, man that's too much. Should only be at most $200 from a great body shop.

20x11 will be able to fit the rear. I seen a 350Z with 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. You'll be able to do it, hopefully your offsets are good also so you have to get a wide or flare kit for them to fit.

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-

Ray, I know you're running a 19x10.5" rear rim and that alone is insane (thats a HUGE rim), I can only imagine what an 11" wide rim would look like! WOW, I didnt think you could go that wide.

Re: HRE Wheels

Here are some answers. Yes i do on planning on dropping the cars.

Yes i did a test fit with an 11.0 wide wheels and it fits perfectly. Also if i can push it even mor ei might try 12. HRE only makes the wheels when ordered so i placed and order for 8.5 JUST for the front. so when they make an 11.0 for the rear i will tell them to make a 12 one. HRE is the shyt reason being is i told them i wanted to go all out and they were like ok lets see whats the widest you can go.

As for rolling the fenders i wouldnt take it anywhere else expcet for Wheel Power Inc. out in Huntington Beach. They are known for making wide body regular 3series with wide body kits. And they did my 3 series. Excelent job. I only spent 250 each side. I got the front done for free because i have bought alot of stuff from them.

So we will wait and see.

Re: HRE Wheels

why do you feel the need to go so wide? does it make it better if it is wider?

Re: HRE Wheels

wider = better. The lip will be big enough to put clothes in it and spin them dry.

Re: HRE Wheels

When the wheel passes the quarter panel that looks ghetto but when its aligned it looks good.
