Hey, sorry if this has been covered. i tried using the search function, unfortunately the closest i could find is a 19x9.5

I'm close to ordering a set of TSW Montage wheels, staggered for my g35 sedan 6mt. However, Greg (i THINK thats his name) over at wheelsdirectonline.com said that i could fit 19x8 up front (i know there's no prob there) alone w/ a 275 series tire on 19x10.5 out back. He assured me that they would fit great on my car, and that i wouldn't have any problems with rubbing, even w/ lowering my car. I asked him about the offset (i know that a lot of people running a 19x9.5 have a +45 offset) but he didn't know of the offset at the time, but as i said, assured me they would fit great on my car.

Is this correct? I don't mind having to roll the fenders or what not, but i don't want to order the set and then find out that i'm SOL.

A 19x10.5 will not fit on a sedan...you can get a 19x10 in the rear but the offset must be high (+40/+43)...something like that.

10.5 would be an extreme on the rear. You should check it out with a local tire and wheel shop to see if that's true. With a drop I would say it wouldn't work.

There is a slim, very slim chance a 10.5 would fit with a very high offset and rolled fenders. Take a +40 and add another 1/4" to it and you will have the minimum offset you need.

well, i guess i gotta call them up again tomorrow. I tried to call them, guess i just missed them (they're in Miami, i'm in Cali). But when i talked to him earlier, he was very confident and sure in that they would fit my sedan.

Google your wheels and see what offset they are offered in that will give you some peace of mind until you can get a hold of him tomorrow. Let us know the highest offset they have.

Offsets: +20 to +49

Now, when i googled "TSW montage offset", i came across this link
http://www.rims-n-tires.com/ which lists the TSW montage at 19x8 up front w/ an ET of 40(i'm assuming this means offset), tires 225/40/19 and rears at 19x10.5, ET of 30 and tires of 275/30/19 (i'm assuming this means offset) and a rear
(oh, and apologies to the mods if linking to non-sponsor site is against the rules)

so, it looks like it may fit, as this particular site has a fitment guarantee.

If the rear offset is +30 they won't fit, they will stick out a lot. That is the offset for a coupe or 350z. The 10.5 +49 might fit but it is going to be close on the inside.

Okay lets hope they really do have a wide range of offsets that will fit a sedan +40, +43 or +45 but I would go with the +40 and rolling your fenders which is pretty easy.

I'm pretty sure Les Schwab and America's Tires carry the Montage (they stock TSWs). You can just walk in and look at a brochure which will have the offsets listed or have them call and check for you.

Don't let the vendor steer you in the wrong direction (I've seen some do it before and almost got it done to me once). I advise you strongly listen to these guys (members) and if they tell you they won't fit, then they won't fit.

i did more research, and i don't want to chance it. I'm going to just go w/ the 9.5 out back. Even if they 10.5 did fit, any weight in the back seats would cause some pretty bad rubbing issues.

Not on a 10.5".
+40 and a 10" with rolled fenders will work.

ttrank, how close is your tire to the fenders (inside)? you got some close up pics by any chance?

Good idea, seeing how the wheels come in 9.5" anyways.
