Crap... Cant find my lug key.

Anyone have any recommendations as to how to get them off? They are the ones from Nissan. Lost the key, and I need to pull the wheels off to put new tires on.

Went to all the local tire shops and they all said "We cant get it off" and pretty much the run around.

Help me!

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. Every place I went to told me they couldn't get them off. Took it to the Infiniti dealership and they opened all the wheel lock sets they had in the parts department and after about 15 sets they found the right key. Not sure if all Infiniti dealerships will do that, but might be worth a shot.

I'd advise that you put sonr rags or somthing around your rim where you are swinging the hammer so you dont miss and damage your wheel. Good luch.

Living life thru chemistry..........or did you look in
the glovebox for the key?

I went to the dealer, and they told me I could order locks by quoting the number on the package that came with my original locks. Since I couldn't find the package and didn't want to wait a week for the new locks to come in, I just had them remove the locks from my car with a master, and bought new ones.

I wont lose thes new ones!

Thanks for the ideas... Looks like Ill have a fun weekend.

What sucks is the closest dealerships are about 2-3hrs away. There is a Nissan locally. Ill just destroy the locks and put new lugs on.
