G35X tires

My 2004 G35X is due for some new tires. What size tires work for the stock 17 inch, six spoke rim?

Go with the Avon Mtech 550 A/S. They are great tires and handles fairly well. Only thing is that the side wall is softer than the oem and you can't take turns as hard IMO. Some others might chime in.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard good things about those. I was just wondering what size to order ie: 235-50-17 or what?

Just go to www.tirerack.com and punch in your car and it will come up as one of the best sellers. I think the size was 215/55/17 I think. THINK...so don't quote me.

I got the Yokohama Avid V4S (from tirerack). They work great for me. And yes, they are 215/55/17. I think they have the Avid W4S now, which looks identical, just a higher speed rating, with MAYBE a modified treadwear rating. I don't need W rated tires though, I guess I'll have to stick to 149 mph tires
