i will be getting PS2's in the next month or so. i will post my impressions. i sure will miss my s03's though i dont think you can rotate ps2's in any way with a staggered setup. i was able to rotate my s03's side to side.

S03's are directional whereas the PS2's are assymetric. With a staggered setup you can easily rotate the PS2's from one side to the other. To do this with the S03's they would need to be remounted. I've had both tires and imo there is no comparison, the PS2's are exceptional. I had one set of S03's and that was enough.

i see no benefit in rotating side to side without remounting unless you have different camber/toe settings on each side. since inner wear is a problem with this car given the negative camber that we all have, rotating is pointless. since i am not an expert, does this make sense?

ah yes, glad to hear that you prefer the ps2 over s03's... i am excited!

I see where your coming from. I should mention that I have always driven 4 wheel drive vehicles and therefore all 4 tires have always been the same size. I always move the fronts to opposite sides on the back and move the backs to the front. With directional tires I simply moved the fronts to the back and the back to the front, all on the same side. I've always had a set of wheels for the winter and a set for the summer and never remounted. I never experienced problems with uneven wear but I am new to the G35; I just got an 07 G35X.

Out of all the tires I have used the PS2's are my favorite. I just ordered 19" wheels and was leaning heavily towards PS2's but decided to try Toyo T1R's. Hopefully I won't regret the decision.

Good luck with the PS2's, I'm sure you will love them.

I just put T1-R's on my car this week. I liked them on my Maxima, and so far I LOVE them on the G. I paid under $900 for them, shipped, from www.edgeracing.com.

Ive got 265/35/19 PS2's up front and I love em. Ive got 285/35/19 T1R's on the rears and the two tires are a great combo. Expensive, but a great combo!

lol, just checking back in... i got my ps2's and theyre almost dead now.... great tire!! very smooth and grippy. sadly, i will not be getting them again since they are so damn expensive! if you have the money though i highly reccomend them. my last set of tires (s03) got really noisy as they got worn. ps2's still have very low road noise.

i will try falken 452 next.

How about a set of RE050A Pole Positions? or Eagle F1 GS-D3? Those are closer in comparison to the PS2, but less expensive.

I just got 4 new PS2s. I got 22k out of my OEM tires (which were bald) and now it feels like a different car, especially on the highway going 80-100. Not to mention no SLIP control coming on all the time

what psi do your keep your tires at?

225/40/18F / 245/40/19R
