Anyone run 245-35-19 and 285-35-19 with any problems?
Good morning everyone. I have axis hiro rims with 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 9.5 and just purchased Kuhmo Esta SPT for the front. I was wondering if I could run 285-35-19 in the back with out having problems with the traction control. I thought about doing 285-30-19 but that would make the back tires slightly smaller than the front and I know that will cause problems.
Also what are your opinions on the Kuhmos...I've read the reviews on tirerack.com but differences in tire sizes and vehicles tend to have varying opinions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I run 245/35/19 and 285/35/19 without any issues, but I would consider 255/35/19 for the front instead. I'll be switching to that size up front once I need to purchase new tires

I switched my rear tire on my oem 18's to 245 40 18 since they were much cheaper and I had problems with the vdc kicking in when cornering. I had stock tires on the front. It makes sense that if the cpu senses differences in wheel speed, it will intervene to correct the issue so changing sizes can really affect how often the vdc acts.

I am running 255/45 r18 in the rear and 225/45 r 18 i the front and am having a lot of problems with the VDC kicking in and trying to control the car with cornering. The rear tires have a different thread pattern then the front and are a sport tires while the fronts are a touring tire. Do i need to buy the same tire for the front?

problem with the vdc
I just put on my 20x9.5 w/245/35s, and my 20x11 w275/35s, the slip light comes up on the dash and cuts power to the wheels, ive been just turnin the trac-control off when i start it up, but I was wondering if it is the wheels or not, and if theres any tricks to cure it without switchin my wheel tire combo.
