I concur (aside fro the rad flush, not necessary at 30K IMO)... I already did rear diff with synth, and cabin filter with Gordgee's product, and oil change ... so all that was left for me at 30K was to have dealer flush and fill ATF... if none of the above (aside from rad) have been done, I agree that it is a good idea at 30K. Rad flush obviously wouldn’t hurt, just probably isn’t necessary... frankly the ATF flush prob isn’t necessary either... but it's all good PM.

^ hey g35sedan5at,

I am considering the same tires and rim size. Did you drop your car and how does the car ride with that size rubber? Pics??

bought the dunlops off www.tirerack.com theyre regular prcie i bleieve is 181 a peice but i got em at 121 a peice, it was a special. id go to tirerack and check the prices. the tires are great. almost zero wear so far and im not a relaxed driver if u know what i mean. i have also hit speeds that are way past what u should be doing and the tires held up fine. cough 140 mph cough. i did not drop my car. it does have sport suspension and lsd. the ride is 10x quieter than stock, i noticed that immediately. the comfort is also better. these tires also handle extremely well in the rain, which is needed here in south florida. ill have pics in a bit.

i just checked tirerack and this specific size is still $121 a peice, only in 245/45/ZR18 though. thats a steal considering every other 18 inch tire is like $190+

Thanks for posting the pics. I am actually considering 245 40R18s but I am worried about the wheel gaps as I don't want to drop the car. Yours looks good.

DD,

I bought my G at Midway Infiniti in north Phoenix. These guys were really good to me during the purchase (I paid 4K under sticker). The local dealership in Tucson wanted full sticker for a new G and 28K for a 04' G with 20K miles on it. So, I will never use the local guy for non-warrenty work after my sales interaction with them. Try Midway and LMK what they want for the 30K mile service.

If you paid 300 for the 30k service and didn't have the motor oil changed or the AT flushed, then what did you pay for?
I understand the 30k service is oil, coolant, tranny fluid..and inspecting a bunch of other stuff.

I bought my G at Midway too, also got a great deal, though they are pretty sleazy through the process. The issue with them is service, they are the one's who quote $799 for the 30K mile service, they also own Pinnacle Infiniti in Scottsdale and they quoted me $699...what a rip off. I'm going to Sun Devil Auto Service with the list and will pay $399 for everything.

My stock tire size is 235/45/18, on the sedan w/ sport tuned suspension...i am assuming that 245/45/18's will be ok....the Dunlaps only come in that size. Can anyone confirm?

I'm running 245/45R18 Dunlops on sport wheels, Sport susp, lowered (Tein 350z h-tech, tokico adj. shocks) and it looks great....I'll post pics later if I can. The tires ride quite nice.
