hey guys, i did a search for this and came up empty handed, even though im sure this has been addressed before. anyways, a couple of questions:
1. does anyone know how much the 350Z rims weigh? i think the track model and the other models differ in this area. our rims weigh 23 lbs correct?
2. will they fit on my G35 Sedan running the 350z suspension?

any input would be much appreciated. or just your opinion on how it looks etc.

ok, i just found out on my350z.com that the track model rims weigh 18 lbs a piece. now all i need to know is if they'll fit on the g35.

He has a sedan, not a coupe. He's asking the same question at my350z.com. I'm not sure, but I believe the answer is no, because of the different offset between the coupe and sedan. Also the coupe has staggered tire sizes and the sedan does not. Anyway, I believe this mod is not feasable.

The 350Z rims are made by Rays Engineering, ie. Volk Racing. If you like the look of the track wheels and want a light, strong and forged rim, I'm sure one of the Volk Racing wheels will be suitable and they are available in a variety of offsets.

 

What about 17" z rims will these fit?

Yes the 17" Z-wheels will fit sedans fine. The rear will stick out ever so slightly (~4mm) at stock ride height. I'm running these right now for the heck of it and are intended for my track use.

well, the reason i want the 350z track rims is becuase they are light and you can get them for relatively cheap compared to other rims. you can get them with tires for less than 2 grand compared to volks for more than 3 grand.

nuttyprof: according to this thread, somebody has already put 350z 18's on a sedan. I myself would also like try those z 18's made by volk. I've seen them going for dirt cheap on my350z.com, with tires too. Question: what are the oem tires that com with the different z wheels? are they "real" performance tires? anything has gotta be better than theses bridgestone turanza POS's.
