Hi, had a quick question about tires on my 04 Sedan. I was hoping too perhaps change my current OEM Goodyears for a different tire (235/50 R17) and was a little concerened about these tire pressure sensors? Will they still work with a wider tire? (excuse the ignorance, but I just don't know..). Also was looking at some aftermarket BBS rims, how will that affect the tire sensors?..Anyone?

 

Yea they should still work, you shouldn't have any problems. PSI is PSI, whether its in a 275/30-19 tire or a 245/35-19, or a 225/45-18 and so on...

They'll work with the wider tires, but the sensors are on the rims. If you go with aftermarket rims, you'll lose your tire sensors. (And I hear the light on the dashboard stays on.)
