Iforged Wheels

I'm considering moving up to some iforged wheels and getting rid of my ADR's. I called iforged directly and they wanted $3400 for just the wheels. Is it cheaper to go elsewhere (not directly through Iforged?).

I think they were rude nizzlers over there to some extent becuase they wouldn't tell me what offset they would sell me, but guaranteed perfect fitment. They acted like the proper offset was some big secret.

Re: Iforged Wheels

you might want to check my350z.com sometimes they have group buys there for a bit cheaper. i have heard that iforged takes months to get the rim out to you.

Re: Iforged Wheels

i just received my 20" i forged senekas this week!!! i ordered them on november 20th. i got a group buy deal on my350z.com for $2600...for 20's. the wait was horrendous.

i forged has to be the worst company i have ever dealt with. they completely ignored my emails, and were rude on the phone. the only saving grace is that i forgot about everything once i got the wheels. they completely surpassed my expectations...they are absolutely beautiful. i get the tires mounted tonight, and i will post pics tomorrow.

it is certainly worth the wait and the money, but you really have to be patient.

Re: Iforged Wheels

take some pics of your offsets as well, I still think iforged can go a little more aggressive on the offsets

Re: Iforged Wheels

Iforged makes beautiful wheels, no doubt, but many other forums complain about their customer service. If you are going to spend that much on wheels, you do not want any headaches.

Re: Iforged Wheels

gdupg35,

Are you tired of the look or is there something wrong with the ADR wheels? I was considering some ADR wheels myself. Thanks for the input.

Take care,

Re: Iforged Wheels

They are great wheels, especially for the money. I'm lowered and they are slightly too wide in front. I don't want to have to worry about rubbing so I'm switching to 8 inch wheels up front.

Re: Iforged Wheels

Do you rub the suspension components or the fender? If you weren't lowered would you still rub?

Thanks,

Re: Iforged Wheels

Just on the fender on hard turns into parking lots. It hits on the bolt for the fender liner just a tiny bit. There is a user on here GAKLID that has no problems at all with the same setup minus the lowering springs. It's really minor, it just annoys me so I decided to go with another wheel. My car seems lower than most with the Eibach's also. There's a guy on here with 1.75" sprint springs and my car looks lower in the pics with only a 1.1" drop.

Re: Iforged Wheels

I totally agree that Iforged is the worst company in the customer service department. I ordered my wheels on 12/20/03, they were in stock ready to ship. They told me 3-4 days for shipping. I called back on 12/30/03 asking when they were shipped, they said they haven't shipped and couldn't for another week. I was pissed, once they took my money they did not care, I mean how long does it take to ship the wheels out? 1 hour at the most and they are telling me it is going to take two and half weeks to do that. So I called back on 1/05/03, they said they going to ship them the next day. I called the next day and got a tracking # from them which I have used since then and UPS's website says they still haven't left yet. I have just about given up. It is going to take a month to get wheels that were in stock when shipping only takes three days!

Re: Iforged Wheels

I have made a decision to go with some different wheels (not nearly as well built or expensive). As nice as the wheels are, I can't wait that long. I think they are a bunch of butt plugs and dildoes for not letting me know what offset they planned to use. Why is that a secret? I thought they were rude.

If anyone from Iforged is reading this, you are loosing customers due to shady business practices. Time to shape up!
