Need Answer regarding Lip size

Guys,
I have been running a search but can't find the answer I need.

I am about to get a set of 20"s and am looking for the most aggressive offset/deepest lip possible without rubbing. I found many different suggestions but just want one answer for my question.

I am considering the Axis Shine, Zinik Z21 Sofi, and an XIX Mesh design. 20 x8.5 front, 20 x 10 rear.

My set up is 245/35/20 front and 275/35/20 rear. I know guys typically run 30 profile in the rear but I live in NYC and want a little extra sidewall for cushioning.

I am not dropped. I want the wheels to sit flush with the fender and at least a 2 inch lip in front and a 4 inch lip in the rear.

I want the biggest lip possible without rubbing or rolling the fenders.

Is anyone running a set-up like this and if so, what are your offsets?

Thanks,
J

My previous Maya STM's were 20x9"f & 20x10.5"r had something like a 2.5" lip on the front 3.5" lip in the rear. They sat flush but I don't recall what offset I had. My tires were 245/35/20 & 285/30/20 with no rubbing or spacers.

My new set of Asanti's are a little different because it seems manufactures go with what they know best. My rim shop knew how my Maya's sat, knew I liked the lip size and how everything sat flush. Again not sure what the offsets are but I can find out, The rims are 20x8.5"f 20x10"r, 2.5-2.75" lip in the front and a 4" lip in the rear. Same tires as before 245/35/20 & 285/30/20.

I was told they will sit flush like my Maya's and no rubbing, just a larger lip. I cant wait I should have them in another 2-4 weeks

offsets that yield different size lips are relative to each wheel.

a +24 offset on one wheel may yield a 4" lip while a +24 offset on another wheel will only yield a 2" lip.

you're being too broad with your queston by asking what offset is gonna yield the most lip.

He wants major lips.........

When you order your wheels let them know what you want and the car
your putting them on. Like Hero said, "every company is different when it
comes to their offsets." Example: IForged doesn't list their offsets only lip
size. Firedawg63nla has the kinda rims you're looking for....check out his
pic and give him a pm for more answers to your offset questions.

Exactly right. Lip has nearly as much to do with the wheel/spoke design as it does offset. The Piaa Super Rozzas have 3.25"/4.75" lips with 25mm offset front and rear, yet they still clear the Brembos thanks to the curved spokes.
