Tire Vandalism

Opinions Please...

I have a screw in my tire, just on the side of the tread (angled in). I have a tire warranty on the tires through discount tire, but they say my tire was vandalized (only because its not on the flat portion of the tire), so they won't honor the warranty.

I live in a gated community with a bunch of old people, so I'm not thinking its vandalism.

If this was my tire, the X is where the screw was. Is it possible this isn't vandalism.

What do you think?

no way man.

Go back and tell them to do investigation on it. Stay firm on your end, and make sure you are not getting some tire boy opinion but if they actually refuding to honor the warranty have them do tests and investigate.

let them know who's the boss. They are just trying to take you for a ride.

on the other hand.............Do you have a loud exhaust...........did you **** off some grandma?....................those things are dangerous.

I had the same thing happen on my tire where the 3 inch nail went thru the side. I took it to Discount Tire and they just took it out...no questions asked. The assistant manager who helped me even told me that if it bubbled then to take it back so they could order one for me.
