REALLY good deal on a set of GREAT tires.
I'm sure everyone knows that Bridgestone ceased production of these Bridgestone Potenza S03 Pole Position II tires.
I've always been a big fan and bought my last set from tire rack also at around half off. I hadn't been able to find another place that would sell them to me and I even went to the Firestone mechanic shop to try to buy some but they couldn't get them for me.
Anyways I got myself an extra set since you guys know that good tires are expensive to buy on our car especially since factory 19"s are so big.
My experience with these S03s has been that they grip very well, great in rain, and have a wonderful treadlife (used them on my Acura CL Type-S and on this car)
I don't do any racing nor do I really drive that hard often so perhaps that's part of the equation as well. All I know is the tires that came with my car from the factory were *** and lasted me barely 14-18K miles.
If yo'ure in the market for tires this is definitely a tire to look at so far as a wonderful quality tire for a price that beats out even those little **** korean tires. (yeah that's right, they're **** tires)
Remember, the main thing keeping you going fast and slowing down fast is the rubber. Getting quality rubber is NEVER a mistake.
