Stupid Newbie Tricks - questions I couldn't find answers to while searching
So, I've had my sedan since October 06 and I said I would leave it stock...well, I'm having a tough time and this forum ain't helpin...
I have the luxury package with the 17s on and I just started looking into upgrading to the factory 18s. Well, the price has made me want to consider aftermarket as well and now I'm looking at 19s and all that comes with it...damn!
My two questions are:
1) Will I have to roll my fender if I get 19x8 wheels? Not looking to stagger (19x9 or 19x10) due to tire rotation but I might be missing something. Can anyone recomend a good shop in the San Jose area?
2) In the wrong forum but...I generally think the gap looks like crap. But I went through the ultra-mega sedan post and I saw a bunch that looks pretty good and didn't look lowered (see below). I don't really want to go down the suspension path (full coilovers, etc) due to a rougher ride, higher cost, and clearance issues but I suspect I won't be happy with the look. How does the car do with just a minor spring drop of 0.5-1.0"? Clearance issues? Much worse compliance/comfort as expected due to a different spring rate vs valving? FWIW, the roads in the Bay Area are getting worse...
Any idea if these cars have a drop on them? All seem to be on 19s...
Thanks for the newbie help!

search, or look at the sig under the post will tell you what drop the car is on. 350z/coupe springs will give you a 1" drop there is a Sticky on this. 19x8 will be fine, any other will fit if you get sedan offsets "sticky again", I think stock coupe 19" are good upgrade for sedans. Good luck
