Price for Volk CE28N

I was quoted $3300 OTD for 18X8.5 Volk CE28N with Toyo T1R 245/45/18

The price is mounted, balanced, tax, everything

Is this a reasonable price?... Should I shop around more?...

18s really arent that much cheaper than 19s contrary to what many think - you may find a cheaper price elsewhere, but probably not by too much. Also with the tax and labor included (not to mention they probably have them in stock - dont have to wait 4 months for them), if you like them Id say get them.

the wheels are $624... the cheapest I've seen on the internet is $600... so I figured it's not too far out of the ballpark... considering mounting and balancing is at least $25 per wheel and tax is 8.25% that means I would be getting the tires for $458 + change... That’s a smokin' deal for tires - but does this mean the wheels are way more than they should be?

If they can be had cheaper, please refer where I should be purchasing.

Thanks

don't go buy retail prices or online prices you see. have you pinged all the vendors here? i'm sure they can do better than that.

well, since I can't find them any cheaper and no one can mention where to get them cheaper, I must presume the price I was quoted is reasonable.

It's one thing to say something costs too much, but without a comparison price how does anyone know?

Has anyone here that said the quote I got is overpriced bought them cheaper or know anyone that has bought them cheaper?… If so please let me know where to look.
Thanks.

Mike,

You sure you don't want to go a bit wider in the rear (staggered setup)? Not sure how wide the sedans can get in the back, but i'm looking for 19x10's in the rears to mount for some wider tires.

By the way, great choice in Volks. Those are some sweet looking wheels!

.

Goodluck with finding a reasonable price. Some sponsors here are pretty good at quoting great deals.

PS. Is this the color you are chosing?

My buddy bought his CE28N's for his sister's RSX in those same sizes, he paid $3100 shipped with tires from Wheels Boutique I think

those look bronze... I'm looking for Titanium Gunmetal. The last thig I want to do is turn around and powder coat them... but you know me (my car) - I'm particular about the overall look.
