How long will my rear tires last?

Anyone know the average miles the rears on an 06 will last?

I think they are all the same brand and model...

^+1. I got like 24k and some change before I started noticing the annoying noise increase level on mine. Then the tread was done.

What are you on...17" or 19"? If you got 19", Potenza, I'm on 31k miles with about 10k more left to go.

I got 32K out of the Pilot Sports but the rears looked like slicks when I changed them, so probably should have been 28K. I now have about 6K on the BFGoodrich GForce TA KDW and I really like these tires, good grip, but they "chirp" alot.

Hmmmm... I'll be lucky if I get 15k out of my stock tires, considering I've done almost 75 runs at the drag strip & many canyon runs

If the owner is diligent to changing out the rear tires when the tread reaches the "wear bar", most tires will not go much further than 18,000 miles. Since our rear tires wear primarily in the middle treads, the visual inspection is deceiving, as the outer treads will wear slower and have more tread. Bottom line is, for all those that are getting those high numbers out of the rears is because you are going past the 2/32 mark of the wear bars and in actuality, the tires were not safe at that point.
