cool.

the Falken's look kinda plain jane on the tread pattern though.

the new NITTO's look funky, but i really had my heart set on those KDW's...bummer about them being loud.
Yes you can run larger tires without any harm. Falkens are great tires in performance and what not. Like i said the KWS are killer tires but you just gotta get past the noise. Which really isn't that bad at all. I have gotten used to it and dont even hear it anymore. It's more or less loud when you are slowing down to a hault, at normal cruizing it's not bad.

I wish I could have gotten a bigger sidewall size tire but they aren't available in that size, imo I wouldn't get the tires I would go with the new NIttos or the Falkenz, they are great tires.

I second this. After <10,000 miles they are loud. My front camber is off just a hair from lowering, but, they are still loud.

I was kinda wondering this as well.... does anyone run 245/40/18 up front on the OEM 2003-2004 8" G35 Coupe rims in conjunction with the OEM sized 245/45/18 in the rear.... and if so, are there issues with VDC or rubbing when the steering is turned to full lock?

If you have the 19" OEM rims, you can go with the following sizes:

245/35 -19 front
275/35 -19 rear

You'll have a fatter tire on the rims. Less understeer, and better traction out back. The sizes will not mess with the VDC either.
Thats a pretty big jump in sizes from stock. Do they look oversized on stock rims, kinda like they're going to pop off the rim?

What's the width? I have 19x8.5 in front and 19x9.5 in rear. I run 245s in the front.....i wouldn't reccomend running any wider tires in the front. I have no problem with turns or rubbing but any bigger will prolly be pushing it. As for the rear I run 285s so you have plenty of space in the back for just about as large as you can go back there. the gs have huge fender well space so it's all up on how big you wanna run in the back, and by the way i have no alignment issues.

I am looking for tires also and probably will get either the Falken or General Exclaims. The General is fairly cheap but good tires from what I have researched.
