OEM Valve Stems on 18" Rims

I'm getting new tires put on my 2004 G35 Coupe OEM 18" rims next week. Are the valve stems on our cars just your typical rubber valve stems which get replaced with each set of tires that you put on, or do we have those metal stems that don't need replacing?

The reason I ask is that I can't see the stem at all since the Tire Pressure Monitor goes over the base of the stem so only the threaded endpiece is visible. I was a little concerned that I might bring it to the tire place to have the tires put on and then have them charge me for stems when in fact the stems that were on there were metal and didn't get replaced.... or that I might bring it in and get the car back with retarded looking black rubber stems sticking out of the Tire Pressure Sensor.
