Black Wheels on lakeshore coupe.

Hey guys,

Just about to order these Racing harts for my Lakeshore coupe. Am i nuts?
I haven't seen any lakeshores with black wheels, and I'm in Australia and the wheels will be coming from Japan so I can't see how they look until it's too late.

Any thoughts? I'm worried it will look odd.
If it helps, I'm planning on blacking out the grill, and the rear valance above the exhaust.

Hey Sean,

Haven't had a chance to test them myself, but another guy seems to the think the R33 callipers won't fit. I think the 300 one s are quite similar to the R33

personally, i wouldn't put black wheels on any car i own - but especially not if i had an LS colored car. IMO, LS is more of the classy/cleaner look.

speedraver has a beautiful LS. search his pictures from ob-photo!

I wouldn't do it. I love the bright color of my lakeshore slate and during the day, it's very nice and shiny.

I think the black wheels would take away from the brillance of the color.

Just my opinion.

Thanks Hero and Speed,

I'm really in two minds. Completely agree that the black will close the color up. I think in the bright sun it would look great, but am really worried that the black would look very out of place on a cloudy day or when there's little light.

Oh and Speed, love the car. I think I've got about 4 000 000 pics of it save on my PC.
