Suspension..sedan stagger setup

Any concerns with suspension if I decide to run a 17" stagger setup on my sedan-7.5 w/225 front and 8.5 w/255 rears? I'll keep sizes with 2% of stock.

I'd work to find the combo that keep's the front to rear diff to less than 1% if I were doing it. I've heard stories of no VDC light and a reduction in the effectiveness of the ABS, which tell's me the VDC's effectiveness might be compromised too. I don't recall how far the poster went outside the oem setup, percentage of diff wise (I was looking for something else and caught the post on the sly, it's on my350z.com).

In related thinking, I have 245's all the way around, I sure wouldn'd go skinnier up front, but I know, that would mean 275's in the rear, that would make things more difficult selection and fitment wise.

why would you want to stagger anyways? what good does that do? besides making the tires look cool from the back of course.

Nuttyprof, the reason you would have wider rear tires is for additional traction (which in the case of forced induction is helpful).

If you're making engine an suspension mods that warrant it, it's not a bad idea. However, if your sedan is otherwise stock, I wouldn't go wider in the rear.. the car already has a slight tendency to understeer. More rubber in the rear would increase that tendency unless you take other steps to counter it.
