Do I have to put RWD wheels on my G?

I've been searching for Rims online and I noticed that some options are for Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) wheels. Do I have to go with these because the selection is not as good? If not, why is this listed as an option. I didn't see any posts on this so sorry if it's been asked already.

Re: Do I have to put RWD wheels on my G?

use the factory arrangement as a base, then calculate what the differences will do to appearance, rubbing, etc. Make sure the combination of offset, wheel width, bolt pattern, and hub diameter (with or without a hubcentric ring, NO SPACERS if you drive hard) work out to fit within the wheel well.

RWD wheels are typically a negative offset, sedan factory wheels are positive (+45 mm) offset, coupe factory wheels are also positive but a smaller positive. Unless you are running VERY wide tires (like 345 or larger) you will need a positive offset to keep from looking like a hispanic lowrider truck
