+40 Offsets, Deep dish or Rediculous?

I am looking at a set of rims that are as follows, no one else seems to be doing this:

19x9.5 40 offset with KDW Type 2 295-35-19 Rear
19x9.5 25 offset with KDW Type 2 255-35-19 Front

i could also go with an 8 inch front rim with a 40 offset

please help, im so confused about these offsets and how they are going to look on my car.

the look i am going for is a DEEP dish rim in back and a decent one in front, but a staggered look as far as dish goes, and i want the tires/rims to be flush with the outside of the wheel well.

ALL help is appreciated, and let me know on the tire sizes if they should be bigger/smaller.

*edit* is this offset positive or negative, they look like they are deep dish...

a +40 offset on a 9.5" wheel is horrible, and even worse on an 8" wheel.

+25 is average on a 9.5" wheel.

Neither of the above specs are going to sit flush with your fenders.

Ok learn me, a +25 will?

how do i know how wide a lip i will be getting?

can you recommend any good 5-spokes that have a thin spoke (you can see through most of the rim) but will have a good flush feeling? i have about 1400 i can spend, so i guess nothing? any recommendations?

kinda like this, but not $4000:

lip sizes are specific to each wheel. a +20 offset is going to offer a different lip size on one wheel than another.

1400 for wheels, or for wheels and tires? i hope that 1400 is for wheels alone...

Why not look for a nicer set of used wheels/tires?

Better yet, save up another ~1k for a brand new set of wheels...9.5/10.5 setup.

A 9.5+40 is going to have LESS lip than a 9.5+25, your setup is all wrong. Also, 295's shouldn't be used on a 9.5" wheel. They require a minimum of a 10" wheel. Try again.

Strike 1 = Konig wheels
Strike 2 = Ugly style
Strike 3 = Specs are way off (terrible widths/offsets, wrong tire sizes)

why would you want 9.5 in the front and in the rear? doesnt make sense to me. you're offset in the rear is way off, those are sedan offsets.

for the rear i would do a 10.5 +17
