245/40/18's on stock sedan?

Just to be on the safe side, will 245/40/18 tires fit on the 18" 6-speed sedan wheels? There is not much out there in 235/45/18

My installer is thinking 245/40's wont fit, but I swear I have seen people on the forum have that size... I plan on getting Eagle F1-A/S but if I stick with 235's I'll have to go with the Yoko Avid's (dont really want those)

245 maybe a little wide (may not be safe) for a 18x7.5 rim... but it will fit
