Performance tires for G35

Ok guys,

What are good tires for the G35 Sedan? What are good recommendations for high performance tires for this car?

Wow..... are you going to get a ton of recommendations.

Answer these questions and you will help the guys help you:

1. What is your driving style? Aggressive, Moderate, Granny?

2. What is more important, Grip or tread wear?

3. Do you have stock wheels? Sport 18", or standard 17"

4. Do you have the sport suspension?

I had the sport suspension and 18" wheels. The stock Briggstones lasted about 22K. I bought a set of Goodyear Eagle RS-A all season tires. They were wonderful. I do a lot of country driving and rain puddles are a problem where I live. These were fantastic in the rain and very good in the dry. They gave me about 35K out of them.

I just put on a set of 19" M45 sport wheels with a set of Falken AT115's in 245 35 19. I haven't had them on long enough to break them in yet, so I don't know how they are going to work.

I have had my 04 coupe that came standard with Michelin Pilots. I drive aggressively around some corners and do two track days a year. That being said the tires are not cheap, but I am not switching because I love their performance. The Michelin PS2's are the next generation and in my opinion are better since they do not create as much road noise.

I have the toyo T1R i think actually i have no idea, which ones they are anymore because they suck a$$ and i don't care.

If you want a performance tire (dry conditions only) then i say go with the BG goodrich T/A KD. They stick to the road and are absolutely the best for dry conditions. The will kick your a$$.

These are great tires as well! I have had them as well. If he wants strictly dry performance then he is going to have to sacrafice a little bit with these tires. The groove pattern on these is set up to shed water, while the other tire is set up to strictly grab the road and be able to drive through very very very light rain.

They ended up pulling a 1.08 G with the T/A KD.
