wheel size question

im thinking about ordering some 20's for my coupe...kuz i like big shiny rimzzzzz(lol, who dosent?!?!) but i was wondering will these be to big and make my car sluggish and bulky? I want performance, not just show, i already have a new exhaust and intake (and a ECU on the way) and i dont want to dampen my already enhanced performance. So will 20's be to big, shuld i opt for some 19's mby 18's??
