Wheel repair/repaint around philly?

I have 2005 G35 sedan with 17". Sears messed up one of my wheels during tire mounting/balancing. Luckily I caught it right away and brought it to their attention. They have agreed to reimburse me for repairs. Anyone has recommendation about where I should go to have it repainted. Can it be repainted to match the factory rimm paint. Quite a bit of color came off, but no serious scratching. I am around philly (king of prussia).

Thanks.

“Quite a bit of color came off, but no serious scratching.” Explain. Are they stained and not scratched. If so, why is it the shops fault?

I have never seen the color come off the wheel like this... its like a big chunk of paint gone from one of the spokes. No definitely not stained. It looks like while putting the tire somthing rubbed off the wheel and took color off. All my wheels were scratchless before that.

Take it to the dealer - I've had the dealer refinish one for me in the past and they did a great job with paint match.

Infiniti of West Chester is down 202 from K of P
Infiniti of Ardmore is not too far East.

I recommend West Chester. Ardmore wasn't anything spectacular but they do get the work done.

Are you sure your wheels have not been refinished before. Paint does not chip off in chunks unless there are layers.

I believe, dealers outsource wheels repair jobs.

Because you are not paying for it, I would defiantly go to the dealer. Make sure they remove the tire when they refinish the wheel and get a warranty with the work.

Nope wheels are originals. Nothing has been done to them before.

I like West Chester wayyy better than ardmore. I wasnt even aware that dealers repair wheels. I will go to them first and then to Lyon's. I will let you guys know how it all turns out.

FYI - West Chester and Ardmore are owned by the same dealer. And, yes, most dealers outsource auto body and wheel work.

Okay just got my wheel fixed. For all those who are in philly area they should definitely check out Lyons detailing. James did a great job with the wheel.
