Thanks for the tip. The wheels were actually chromed (I was told they were polished when sold to me). The road salt destroyed the chroming. I have the wheels at American Factory Wheels getting re-chromed as we speak for another $640. They unfortunately said the pitting won't go away 100%. It's been a cluster**** with these wheels. I will NEVER buy a set of wheels ever again without seeing them in person. I can now only hope the member that sold them to me reimburses me for the chroming.
