HELP! please

hello, I'm about to buy some new rims for my 2004 g35x sedan and i have some questions about a few things. I dont know the difference in the width of the rim sizes or what it means to the car but i just picked out the 18x8 work euroline xr wheel. will this rim be good for my car?

what about how you figure out what size tire you need to fit your rim? i think i read somewhere somebody said 245/35/18 was the best, and i have no idea what any of that means but im assumeing its the height of tire/width of tire/size of rim?

and then ive been reading alot about offsets and i also have no clue what that is either. i'd really like to order my rims and have them soon but im pretty clueless about how i should go upon doing that. i've tried to do some research but still am pretty clueless, if anybody could help me out that would be great, and sorry for such a lengthy post :[

i say go for some staggered.. like an inch or so wider in the back, gives you more traction and a more stable feel.. i'm not a wheel/tire expert so idk exactly what the #s mean

Call the experts......!

Give the TireRack or F1 Motorsports a call, both of these companys know
what size tire/wheel combo you can use on the sedan. We all have opinions
but these guys know the facts!

You need to keep the same size rimes and tires on all four corners since you have the X.

Google offset and you'll find plenty of information on all of the terms you don't understand.

On my sedan, I run 235/45/18's on my 8 inch wide coupe rims.

thanks for the input everyone, so from what i've got so far, i could take this 18 inch rim i want, stick it on some tires that are 235/45 and that would work fine? is there any specific size of tire that is PERFECT for that rim, or the car?

Just make sure you have the proper offset. And definitely DO NOT mix sizes on an X. You will blow the center diff.
