Another Spacer Question

In another thread, I asked the following question:

Is there a difference from brand to brand or does it really not matter provided you get the size you want. If it does matter, do you guys have brand recommendations?

One answer I received was:

Depends on the spacer type you are looking for. For bolt on, I would stick with eibach and project kics, for spacers with replacement studs, eibach, h&r and ichiba would be good choices

My question is, how do you know what you need? Ie. Bolt on vs spacers w/ replacement studs?

My info: Wheels coming are

Fronts: 19x8.5 + 20 F
Rear: 19x9.5 + 20 R

I have an 04 Coupe with factory Brembos. I'm told I'll need a 7mm spacer to clear the front Brembos. So that's one question - what kind do I need and does it really matter?

I'm also wondering if I should consider getting some rear wheel spacers for a better look. Thoughts? Any other information I need to provide to get more help?

The type you need depends on the wheels, spacers with replacement studs will work with all types of wheels, but bolt on spacers only work with wheels that have recesses on the mounting face to accept the part of the stud that extends past the spacer. Stock wheels have it, but not all aftermarket ones do. I would go 15mm front spacers and 15mm rear spacers on your setup
