235/50/18 on stock 06 Sedan
I have a 06 Sedan Sport 5AT and I need new tires. I tried to search but could find anything. My car is stock and I need to know if 235/50/18 will fit the factory 18's with no problems rubbing or turning.
I dont really care about looks (the reason my car is stock lol) but I do care about ride and I was thinking that it may be a little more cushion and comfortable if I replaced the tires with 235/50's instead of the 235/45's that came with the car.
I don't think it would look bad, maybe just close a little of the wheel gap right? Or would I have problems turning?
Thanks

You can use the 50's but they will be too tall and your speedo will be off. Handling may feel a little different too with a taller sidewall. you shouldn't have any rubbing.
245/40/18 will also work and will be about the same diameter as the stock 235/45's.
Tirerack.com has a few 235/45/18's including the inexpensive Kumho Ecsta SPT's, which are a good tire.
