I want to switch from Toyo to Nitto gimme your imput please

I'm currently running Toyos T1R 255/40/19 on my rear (M45 Sport wheels) I believe those are 8.5 inch.

I want to switch to Nitto NeoGen or Invo.

NeoGen does not come in the size I want/need. It's either 245 or 275. I think 275 is too much for 8.5 rim, even tho some of ppl on here did put that wide of a tire on 8.5 rim.
Now Invo does come in the size I'm looking for.

Did any of you had any exp with any of this tires. Any of you switched from Toyos to this.

How much of a diff you felt. Was it better or worse.

Help me out if you can.

Thanks.

Why the Nitto's specifically, and what don't you like about the Toyo's? 245 would be a better choice on an 8.5" wheel IMO than the 275

just want to try something new

Nitto's last longer and I cant get anymore then 25-30 k out of toyos.

I don't want to put 275 on 8.5 that is why I'm leaning towards Invo. And guy at the discount tire told me that they are better then NeoGen.

Do you have any reason to believe the Nitto's last longer? I have never heard them to have extraordinary life, and 25-30k out of a set of tires is already pretty good. Have you looked into the falken 452's? They are also a good tire to consider

^^ Falken 452's were excellent on my G35 Coupe. And they're well priced as well. I'd look into those as an alternative as well, Joker.

humm, I am thinking about getting rid of the 20's and going with the m45 wheels, but instead of 245, I was thinking 255/35/19. Sorry Joker I just jacked your thread. LOL

I have the nitto neo gen's and I cant complain the hard inside has reduced uneven wear to a minimum. The road noise is not bad, and they are well priced tire. I would buy them again.

I never had Toyos, but my Falken FK452's were pretty good at not being very noisy, and they had great traction summer / wet

Joker, you got 25-30K on your T1R's? You really do drive like a poosay. Most people can't get more than 15K out of them.
