Will 245/45/18 fit on 18x8 hp evo wheels on my sedan? Or do I need to stay with 235/45/18 or 225/45/18? From the speedo calculator the 245/40/18 would be off by more than 3%.

all should fit. i show 2.3% fast on the speedo for a 245/40/18, that's what'd I get. i'd go smaller overall diameter vs. larger, shortens the gearing, better acceleration...

plenty of guys run 245/45/17 which are the same height as the 245/40/18s...
