6MT 03.5 Sedan sport suspension aero package with 19 X 8.5 ADR M Sport 245/35/19 all around. Want to drop about an inch but worried about rub. Prefer to purchase springs only since car has 20K mile. Tires outside wheel fenders slightly (3MM) due to 35 offset. I have searched threads and looks like Tein H Techs are only option to avoid fender roll. Anyone know if Eibach pro kits would work for me??. Considering Tein Basic kit but looks too low from gallery pics.

Thanx.

i think you can get away with the drop if you roll fenders. The wheesl will tuck in a bit once its dropped so it should be right at the fenderline if you roll it. If you're doign spring only i'd suggest you get unrevised Z springs for your 03.5 sedan since the different spring rates on the others will significantlly lower the life of your oem shocks. The unrevised Z springs will have the same spring rate as your sport springs while lowering it about 1" all around.

Thanks for help. Unrevised Z springs are 2004.5 and earlier? Can I get those new or search for low mileage used? Site suggestions?

better to search for them on forums, buying new would be a rip off. Yes the unrevised were 04.5 or earlier.

No, the 04.5 are revised...

anyways, GeorgeS, with your offset and tire sizes, you will definitely not rub with Z suspension, or H-techs. No need to fender roll either.

My previous wheels were +35mm 245/35/20 and did not rub with z suspension, not even close...GL
